Interior & Exterior Design
Bayside at Lake Oconee
Located in the beautiful Bayside at Lake Oconee community, this custom new construction home was thoughtfully designed from the ground up to blend timeless architecture with modern luxury living. Lisa from Drift & Dwell Design was honored to partner with the homeowners throughout the entire process, helping guide the design vision, selections, and finishes for both the exterior and interior spaces.
Modern Architecture Inspired by Lake Living
The exterior of this Bayside at Lake Oconee home was designed to make a bold yet timeless statement. A sophisticated mix of painted brick, dark siding, natural wood accents, and metal roofing creates a striking contrast that feels both modern and inviting. Expansive windows bring in natural light while highlighting the home’s architectural details, and the thoughtfully designed outdoor living spaces extend the home’s functionality beyond the interior. From the welcoming front entry to the resort-style backyard complete with an elevated infinity pool, lounge areas, and covered entertaining spaces, every exterior detail was carefully selected to complement the surrounding landscape.
Luxury Interiors with Timeless Character
The interior of this lake home was thoughtfully designed to balance elevated style with comfortable, functional living for every member of the family and their guests. From the warm wood tones and dramatic stone selections in the kitchen and living areas to the stunning cabinetry, statement lighting, layered textures, and custom details throughout, each space was curated to feel refined and inviting.
We worked closely with the homeowners to design each interior space. From cabinetry, lighting, and flooring to tile, fixtures, and custom details, every selection was made to create a cohesive look that feels timeless, modern, and inviting. Our design team helped bring the vision to life throughout the kitchen, scullery, living spaces, primary suite, bathrooms, home office, laundry room, mudroom, terrace-level bar and media room, and custom bunk rooms—resulting in a home perfectly suited for lake living and entertaining.
