    Lisa Thomas

    OWNER & LEAD DESIGNER

Lisa is the founder of Drift & Dwell Design and serves as the lead designer for the luxury residential interior design firm based in Greensboro, Georgia, on Lake Oconee. With a passion for creating refined yet livable interiors, Lisa specializes in helping homeowners and builders design spaces that feel timeless, functional, and deeply personal.

Lisa’s passion for interior design grew while renovating several homes alongside her husband. Encouraged by friends and family, Lisa turned that passion into a career and has spent the last several years building her presence in the design industry before recently launching Drift & Dwell Design.

Since moving to Lake Oconee in 2019, Lisa has enjoyed helping homeowners throughout Georgia’s lake country create refined yet livable interiors tailored to their lifestyle. Her design philosophy centers around creating homes that inspire comfort, connection, and ease while balancing timeless style with everyday functionality.

Outside of work, Lisa enjoys hosting family and friends, spending time on the lake with her husband, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs.

    Susie Prestwood

    JUNIOR DESIGNER

Susie brings a thoughtful, creative approach to interior design, with a passion for creating spaces that feel both timeless and personal. Originally from Milledgeville, Georgia, she developed a love for interiors at an early age, inspired by her mother and grandmother, who showed her how meaningful details can transform a house into a home.

She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Furnishings and Interiors from the University of Georgia, where she developed a strong foundation in design principles, color theory, and space planning. Today, Susie combines that technical knowledge with her natural creativity to design homes that beautifully reflect each client’s personality and lifestyle.

Since starting work in the Lake Oconee area in 2024, Susie has enjoyed helping homeowners create inviting, functional spaces tailored to how they live. As part of the Drift & Dwell Design team, she is excited to continue growing alongside Lisa and Kaleigh while bringing fresh, intentional design ideas to every project.

She recently earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Interior and Architecture Design from Georgia Southern University. Since joining the team in May 2024, Kaleigh has worked alongside Lisa to help create refined, functional, and inviting interiors for homeowners throughout the Lake Oconee area.

Known for her positive energy and outgoing personality, Kaleigh enjoys building relationships with clients and bringing creativity into every project. Outside of design, she loves traveling, spending time in lake country with her boyfriend and their dog, tackling DIY projects, and playing tennis and pickleball.
